Maharashtra Mandal Qatar recently Welcomed new Ambassador of India to Qatar, H. E. Dr. Deepak Mittal!
Maharashtra Mandal Qatar, Managing Committee 2019, 2020 in a meeting at Embassy of India, greeted the new Ambassador of India to Qatar H.E. Dr. Deepak Mittal and Shri. S. Xavier Dhanaraj, First Secretary Consular & Community Affairs.
President Mrs. Neelambari Sushant Savardekar formally welcomed both of them on behalf of Maharashtra Mandal Qatar & entire Maharashtrian community. She briefly explained overall activities of MMQ and growth of MMQ community in past 25 years. This was followed by an individual introductory session of MMQ Committee 2019 & 2020.
Mr. Sanjay Patil, General Secretary of MMQ informed in brief about the significant educational & philanthropic activities undertaken by MMQ during the year 2019 & 2020.
Mr Parag Sonawane, Joint Secretary, Mrs. Shweta Koshti, Managing Committee Member and Mr. Atul Deswandikar, Treasurer of MMQ explained about the repatriation activity undertaken by MMQ. The Ambassador wholeheartedly appreciated the significant contribution of MMQ towards repatriation related activity.
Mr. Sujit Khanloskar, Mr.Nilesh Parsekar and Mr. Sagar Mangavkar, Managing Committee Members explained various activities and programs/events undertaken by MMQ towards the community welfare and requested for the continued support and guidance from EoI towards MMQ community activities in coming future.
H.E. Dr. Deepak ji Mittal, in his address, appreciated the MMQ and its notable contribution towards community and Indian residents in Qatar. He further said and reassured that he is open to discussing for any suggestions or matters in case MMQ wishes so in future. He expressed his support for MMQ and their future events/activities.
Managing Committee Member presented a Maharashtrian symbol of pride, a Turban ‘Bhagava Feta’ to the honourable Ambassador.
